A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position specializing in teletherapy services is available to support students within a school setting. This contract role focuses on providing voice therapy (VOCO) services remotely, managing a caseload of approximately 50 students. The position requires a strong commitment to delivering effective speech-language support through virtual platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Provide voice therapy services via teletherapy to students with diverse communication needs.
- Collaborate with educational professionals to develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and legal requirements.
- Participate in virtual team meetings and consultations.
Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology licensure; Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) credentials will not be considered.
- Experience in teletherapy and proficiency with virtual therapy platforms.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Background in school-based speech-language pathology services is desirable.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
